Building reciprocal links with relevant high-ranking sites is one of the most beneficial things you can do as a site owner. Not only does it increase the flow and quality of traffic to your site, but search engines like Google really take notice and boost your PageRank accordingly. But where to start?
If you’re embarking on a link building strategy for the first time, here are some quick tips. For these examples, let’s imagine you’re focussing “outdoor clothing”. Identify some potential link prospects by opening Google and trying the following:
Search Command Allinurl
Type “allinurl:outdoor clothing” (without the quotes) to find sites with “outdoor clothing” in the url.
Search Command Allintitle
Type “allintitle:outdoor clothing” (without the quotes) to find sites with “outdoor clothing” in the title.
Don’t forget to try related or alternative keywords too. For example “outdoor clothes”, “waterproof clothing”, etc… Happy link building!
