DesignKarma is pleased to announce the launch of Three Rings Communications—an online store selling the latest iPhone and mobile accessories. This is the second ExpressionEngine-powered online store developed by DesignKarma.

Image editing often proves to be a headache for clients. Photoshop or Fireworks are too costly, and apps like MS Paint are too basic. However, DesignKarma recently came across a pretty good online image editor (modeled on Photoshop) which should prove very useful for our clients. The application is called Pixlr and you can access it directly here.

DesignKarma is currently building on the successful redesign of Medics Away with a bunch of new features. Amongst other things we’ll be adding new membership capabilities, a discussion forum, and e-commerce. Watch this space.

It’s always the way: You’re so busy doing other people’s websites that you neglect your own. Well, I finally got around to putting a fresh face on designkarma.co.uk, and although I consider it an improvement, I’m still not totally happy with it.

Like many others, I continue to be surprised (and frustrated) by the slow uptake of MSIE7. We won’t go into the reasons here, but I recently came across a CSS text sizing issue in IE6.
